ZF completes Wabco acquisition

Germany / Switzerland - ZF Friedrichshafen AG of Friedrichshafen, Germany late last month completed the acquisition of commercial vehicle technology supplier, Wabco Holdings Inc of Bern, Switzerland, having gained approval from all required regulatory authorities. Regulatory approval from the Chinese State Administration was the last and final approval to have been received in mid-May.

ZF stated the integration into ZF would begin immediately to achieve a shared vision of creating a customer-focused powerhouse to advance commercial vehicle technology. ‘With the addition of Wabco, ZF’s focus will be on expanding its commercial vehicle service portfolio and on operating customer business.’
