Sideguard Assist – now available as a retrofit in Mercedes-Benz and Setra branded trucks and buses

Germany - Daimler Trucks & Buses*, a division of Daimler AG of Stuttgart has announced it is now offering Sideguard Assist as a retrofit solution for almost all its trucks, buses and coaches made by the Mercedes-Benz and Setra brands.
Sideguard assist is primarily for the protection of cyclists, e-scooters and pedestrians in city traffic and is a system to warn truck and bus drivers of a potential collision.
