Heuliez celebrates its 40th anniversary this year

France / UK – French bus manufacturer, Heuliez Bus of Rorthais – a subsidiary of CNH Industrial NV since 2013 - is to celebrate its 40th anniversary later this year.

Heuliez claims to have developed the first double-articulated bus and was certainly an early producer of low-floor buses. It also produces trolleybuses and has engaged in the development of many buses with a variety of alternative drive solutions including hybrid and electric minibuses and buses as well as vehicle operating on CNG, LPG and hybrid engines. These vast range of skills, acquired throughout a history dedicated to passenger transport, has allowed the brand to position itself as one of the leaders on the French market and in other European countries.
