New electric Hyundai County minibus for Korean home market

South Korea - Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) of Seoul, South Korea has introduced, the County Electric – a full electric version of its County minibus and the company’s first electric minibus - for the Korean market.

Measuring 7,710mm long, County Electric is equipped with high-efficiency and high-power 128kWh lithium-ion-polymer batteries offering a range of 250km on a full charge. The 128kWh battery pack can be charged fully in just 72 minutes using a standard Combo 1 DC system based on 150kW charging. The bus can be also charged using a household 220V outlet, which takes 17 hours; a 220V charger is provided as an option. Hyundai says it plans to offer the bus in various configurations with seats from 15 to 33 people.
