MAN offers EcoLife 2 transmissions across all bus and coach platforms

Germany – MAN Truck & Bus SE of Munich is making EcoLife 2 automatic gearboxes from ZF Friedrichshafen AG of Friedrichshafen, Germany a standard feature with its city and intercity buses. The latest generation EcoLife 2 offers a convenient torque converter, a stop/start facility and greatly increased operating efficiency to save fuel and reduce emissions.

EcoLife 2 will also be incorporated as standard across the company’s coach range on MAN Lion’s Coach, Neoplan Tourliner and Neoplan Cityliner models.
