Chilean market reaches sales of 13,200 CVs in 2020, a decrease of 18.8%

Chile - According to data released by ANAC (National Automotive Association of Chile) of Santiago, Chile, commercial vehicles sales totalled 13,272 units, down by 18.8% compared with 16,342 units sold in 2019: Truck sales in 2020 accounted for 10,646 units (2019: 12,859) and bus and coach (all) sales 2,626 (3,483).

According to ANAC, despite a significant drop in sales compared with 2019, the market reached the fifth consecutive month of growth in December, recovering most of the sales lost in March, April, and May. Since September, the market has been selling cumulatively more commercial vehicles each month - mainly trucks.
