Brazil - Data collated and analysed by ANFIR (National Association of Manufacturers of Road Implements) of São Paulo, Brazil reveals that, despite the pandemic, the market for road implements (trailers and truck bodywork) in the first quarter of 2021 finished with substantial growth. Sales during the quarter rose by 47.5% to 37,402 units compared with 25,331 units in the same period in 2020.

Norberto Fabris, president of ANFIR, about the market improvement said: “The result for the quarter shows that business is consolidating in a favourable manner for the sector.” (This is despite the severe uptick in the coronavirus pandemic in Brazil).
