Total registrations of trailers and truck bodies reached 117,046 units, a 3.2% decrease from 120,921 in the same period of 2021, according to the National Association of Road Implement Manufacturers in Brazil (ANFIR).

The price of steel charged by producers in Brazil in the last 12 months has increased by almost 100%, according to Norberto Fabris, president of ANFIR - National Association of Manufacturers of Road Implements.

Data collated and analysed by ANFIR (National Association of Manufacturers of Road Implements) of São Paulo, reveals that, despite the pandemic, the market for road implements (trailers and truck bodywork) in the first quarter of 2021 finished with substantial growth.
