ADL sets up service workshop and parts store in Berlin

UK / Germany – With the option exercise for delivery of a further 198 Environ500 double decks for BVG in Berlin (see article in this issue), Alexander Dennis Ltd (ADL) of Larbert, UK has opened a new office, service workshop and parts warehouse in Berlin.

Local support for the buses, stated ADL, will be provided by an experienced team now operating out of the recently opened Berlin office. ADL will increase its investment in Berlin to underpin the fleet roll-out and support its European expansion. Recruitment is underway for additional team members, ADL announced.
