BVG confirms 198 Enviro500 option with ADL

UK / Germany - Alexander Dennis Ltd of Larbert, UK (part of NFI Group Inc) has confirmed the Berlin bus operator, Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) has exercised options for 198 Enviro500 double deck buses, to be delivered to Berlin by the end of 2022. The buses will join two Enviro500 double deck buses delivered to BVG in October 2020 for evaluation as part of a multi-year framework contract signed in 2018. Options for a further 230 Enviro500 double deck buses remain in the contract.
