QEV Technologies partners with Geotab to offer customers latest in connectivity

Spain / CanadaQEV Technologies of Barcelona, Spain, an engineering firm specialising in electric mobility for motorsports and a range of commercial vehicle applications, has announced a partnership with Geotab Inc of Oakville, Ontario, a specialist in IoT and connected mobility, for the supply of telematics. The alliance between QEV Technologies and Geotab, aims to offer customers the latest technology in fleet management, telematics and connectivity offered by Geotab, while adding the experience in data analysis and vehicle management gained daily from the racetracks by QEV.

QEVTech Bus, the branch within QEV Technologies which offers solutions for urban mobility worldwide, produces electric kits, which can be used for conversions, up to different-sized rolling chassis and finished vehicles for various applications. In 2017, QEVTech Bus obtained funding from the European Investment Bank driven by its retrofit e-kit, astrokit. In 2019, QEVTech Bus presented in Manila, The Philippines, the COMET, a full-electric city bus with capacity for 30 passengers and today it currently consists of a fleet of over 20 buses. In 2020, it did the same in Peru with the E-TITÁN, a 12m city bus which is now in service.
