BYD ADL partnership reaches 500th e-bus delivery milestone

UK / China - BYD UK Co Ltd of Iver, UK (a subsidiary of BYD Co Ltd of Shenzhen, China) and Alexander Dennis Ltd (ADL) of Larbert, UK, which entered a working partnership agreement in October 2015 for electric buses, are celebrating the partnership's handover of its 500th electric bus. The zero emission double deck joined the fleet of the partnership’s launch customer, Go-Ahead London, which had it first buses delivered in the summer of 2016. The 500th delivery is a BYD ADL Enviro400EV double decker, one of 20 to join the Go-Ahead London fleet for Transport for London route 69 between Walthamstow and Canning Town.
