ADL will supply National Express 170 double-deck BYD ADL Enviro400EV electric buses, to be delivered by the end of 2024.

Over the coming weeks, eight new Enviro200EV single deck buses will be added to Sky's fleet for carrying staff and visitors to and from its campuses in Scotland and in London.

The joint partnership between Larbert-based Alexander Dennis Ltd and the UK subsidiary of BYD Auto Co Ltd of Shenzhen, China, has delivered its 1000th electric bus. The BYD ADL Enviro400EV double decker bus was part-funded by the Scottish Government and was handed over to Stagecoach in Aberdeen.

Alexander Dennis Ltd of Larbert, Scotland, and BYD UK, of Iver, England, have delivered 29 Enviro400EV double deck buses to London transport operator Abellio. The buses feature a swathe of customer focussed tweaks such as a skylight on the upper deck and phone mounts on the back of all seats.

Electric bus building partners, Alexander Dennis and BYD UK have signed a framework agreement with the National Transport Authority of Ireland for the delivery of up to 200, BYD ADL Enviro200EV zero emission battery-electric buses.

BYD UK and Alexander Dennis which entered a working partnership agreement in October 2015 for electric buses, are celebrating the partnership's handover of its 500th electric bus.

BYD UK has confirmed its largest ever order for electric buses. RATP Dev London is to take delivery of 195, single and double deck buses for use on Transport for London services in London.

In response to growing demand in the UK for zero emission buses, Alexander Dennis Ltd and BYD UK, are extending their business partnership with the announcement they plan to assemble electric bus chassis in the UK starting in the second half of 2021.
