Japan - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) of Kawasaki City in Japan’s Kanagawa Prefecture, announced in March it would participate in the Tokyo Zero-emission Innovation Bay council, which was established as part of the Japanese government’s “Progressive Environment Innovation Strategy”.

The Tokyo Zero-emission Innovation Bay aims to make the Tokyo Bay area the first zero-emission innovation hub in the world through the collaboration of many different locally-based companies and research institutions. It aims to develop solutions to help combat climate change by supporting information exchange and collaboration among members on research, demonstrations and business development related to zero emission technologies.
