Germany - Werlte-based trailer manufacturer, Krone Commercial Vehicles SE, which claims to have the largest and most modern production facility for dry freight trailers, following an EUR11.3m modernisation programme in 2020 at its Herzlake facility, it is now offering a new generation of Krone Dry Liners with improved quality as well as greater variety.

Last September, Krone reported that after almost a year of planning and construction activities, the new Dry Liner production line was in operation. A special highlight of the Dry Liner production line, it said at the time, was the new crane-supported side wall installation to fit the wall in one piece. The panels, whether made of plywood, plastic or as a foamed sandwich construction, are installed in one piece, up to 13.60m in length. The aesthetically smooth surface of the side walls is not interrupted by any supporting structure, so it can be printed on perfectly and is easy to clean.
