Peru enjoys CV sales more than doubling of market recovers in first half of 2021

Peru - According to the Automotive Association of Peru (AAP), based in Lima, during the first six months of 2021, a total of 8,426 commercial vehicles were sold in Peru, some 138.6% higher than the same period in 2020 (3,532 units).

The increase in sales of commercial vehicles during the first half of 2021 was particularly influenced by the positive behaviour of the truck market, which registered 7,545 units (6,226 (gvw<10.5t) + 1,319 (gvw>10.5t)), an increase of 183.8% over 2,659 units in the same period in 2020.
