USANikola Corporation of Phoenix, Arizona, has expanded its sales and service dealer network in the north-eastern and midwestern United States in recent months, following various deals, for their battery-electric and fuel-cell electric truck concepts.

Nikola recently announced a contract with Alta Equipment Group, which operates a total of 55 dealerships across the East Coast and the Midwest. Alta plans to represent sales and service locations in New York, New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, and other select areas in the New England region which it believes bear the opportunity for growth in the Class 8, zero-emission truck market. This follows on from agreements which Nikola struck in July with five other independent dealerships,1 adding 51 locations across nine states, which makes for a current total of 116 dealer locations.
