USA Goodyear Ventures, the venture capital division of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company of Akron, Ohio, has made an investment in AmpUp, a company based in Cupertino, California, which develops software applications for the management of charging infrastructure.

AmpUp also recently secured additional capital from Foothill Ventures and TechNexus Venture Collaborative which, together with Goodyear’s investment, it plans to use to scale up its operational and technical capacity to meet growing demand for its products. AmpUp’s technology-agnostic platform is designed to help fleets and station operators manage their charging stations, allowing for the remote management of charging schedules, data collection and analysis, and monitoring.
