South Korea - Hyundai Motor Group of Seoul, is investing heavily in two main zero-emission technologies, battery-powered electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel-cell electric vehicles (FCEVs), as major markets across the world look to phase out internal combustion engines in the next 15 years.

The South Korean vehicle manufacturer has set a goal of selling 64,000 hydrogen fuel cell-powered trucks globally by 2030, including its Xcient heavy-duty FCEV, which it says has a range of around 400 kilometres and can be refuelled with hydrogen in 8-20 minutes depending on ambient temperature.
