Pilot test of MAN autonomous truck in Port of Hamburg completed

Germany – MAN SE, a commercial vehicle manufacturer based in Munich, Bavaria, and a subsidiary of Traton SE, has announced the completion of a pilot test of its prototype autonomous truck. The ‘Hamburg TruckPilot’ project was a collaboration between MAN and Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA) on the development of autonomous trucks, which were trialled at Container Terminal Altenwerder in the city of Hamburg.
