Proterra Transit appoints new CEO

USA - Proterra Transit of Burlingame, California, (a division of Proterra Inc) has announced the promotion of former Chief Operating Officer (COO), Josh Ensign to the role of CEO of the subsidiary. Having held previous positions at Tesla and Honeywell, Ensign is experienced in logistics, purchasing, manufacturing and supply chain.
In his previous role at Tesla, Ensign oversaw all production at the Fremont, California factory, including the installation of the current Model S high volume production line, the dual motor platform, the Model X, and the establishing of Tesla’s new seat manufacturing plant.
