South Korean market continues to grow in Q2 2021

South Korea - South Korea’s commercial vehicle market over 2 tons gvw continued to grow in the second quarter of 2021, with sales rising by 5.2% to 64,525 units from 61,344 in the same period of last year, based on data released individually by vehicle manufacturers and trade associations.

The South Korean economy rebounded strongly in the second quarter, by 5.9% year-on-year after shrinking by 2.9% a year earlier, while growth in the first quarter of 2021 was just 1.9%.
