Dana partners with Bosch to manufacture fuel cell components

USA / Germany – Dana Inc. of Maumee, Ohio, and Robert Bosch GmbH of Gerlingen, Germany, have announced a long-term cooperation agreement to mass produce metallic bipolar plates for fuel cell stacks.

To address increasing demand, total production volume will exceed 100 million metallic bipolar plates for the Europe, Asia Pacific, and North America markets. The plates are expected to support fuel-cell powertrains for commercial-vehicle applications in 2022.
