Using new proprietary light-weighting technology Howmet Wheel Systems expands Alcoa Ultra One range in Europe

USA / Hungary – Use of a breakthrough proprietary MagnaForce® alloy technology, Alcoa Wheels, a subsidiary of Howmet Aerospace Inc, based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA has announced the European roll out of its strongest 22.5x8.25 heavy-duty bus, truck, and trailer wheels in the Ultra ONE range yet.

Produced at Howmet’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Székesfehérvár, Hungary, it says due to the company’s MagnaForce technology, the latest Ultra One wheel in the Alcoa European product family, has increased the maximum load capacity to 4100 kg, an improvement of 350 kg compared with the industry.
