Howmet is set to install a SACMA 670AL cold forging machine, used to produce its Huck lockbolt pins and collars; a range of two-piece vibration-proof fasteners typically used in safety-critical applications.

Use of a breakthrough proprietary MagnaForce® alloy technology, Alcoa Wheels, a subsidiary of Howmet Aerospace Inc, based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA has announced the European roll out of its strongest 22.5x8.25 heavy-duty bus, truck, and trailer wheels in the Ultra ONE range yet.

The Alcoa brand, the  aluminium wheel manufacturing concern, since April 1, 2020, has been owned by Howmet Aerospace Inc of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

An investment of USD30m is being spent on a new wheel manufacturing plant in Hungary to build Alcoa-branded Ultra One wheels by Howmet Aerospace Inc, the parent company of the aluminium wheel manufacturer.
