Linamar signs exclusive manufacturing and licensing agreement with battery pack producer eMatrix

Canada / USA – Linamar Corp., based in Guelph, Ontario, Canada has announced an exclusive manufacturing and licensing agreement with Michigan-based battery pack provider, eMatrix Energy Solutions¹. As part of the agreement, Linamar has taken a significant minority equity position in eMatrix. However, the financial terms of the investment have not been disclosed. Under the umbrella of Linamar's recently announced eLIN Product Solutions Group, this initiative is the company's first expansion into power storage solutions.
