Electrovaya to supply Vicinity Motor with batteries for electric trucks and buses

Canada – Electrovaya Inc of Mississauga, Ontario, has entered an agreement with Vicinity Motor Corp of Aldergrove, British Columbia, for the supply of battery systems to be installed in Vicinity Motor’s line of battery-electric trucks and buses.
Under the terms of the agreement, Electrovaya will supply the latest version of its NMC (nickel manganese cobalt) ceramic lithium-ion batteries and support the full integration of the battery systems with Vicinity’s electric vehicles, which include the Vicinity Lighting mid-sized bus and the VMC 1200 Class 3 truck.
