Lightning eMotors exports first EVs to Canada

USA / Canada – Electric CV manufacturer Lightning eMotors, based in Loveland, Colorado, has completed its first order for the Canadian commercial vehicle market. Lightning delivered ten electric cargo vans to the Goodfood Market Corp. in Montreal, Canada.

Built on a Ford T-350HD chassis, Lightning retrofitted the electric powertrain, electrical infrastructure and control software. The result is a cargo van with a 65kWh battery pack and an estimated range of 195km (120 miles) on a single charge.
