Quantron outlines strategy to become global OEM in the truck and bus industries

Germany Quantron AG, a company specialising in the electrification of commercial vehicles based in Gersthofen, Bavaria, has announced its aim is to become a global Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the zero-emission truck and bus markets as part of its 2025 business strategy. 

‘QUANTRON vision 2025’ was unveiled in a video posted online1 which outlined the company’s aim to develop a new range of vehicles, beginning with a 12-metre bus announced last month – see T&BB September 2021 for more details. A light truck and a heavy U.S. truck are currently at the planning stage. Quantron states that it intends to “build a strong brand DNA” by creating a unique feel and aesthetic for its vehicles.
