Accuride sets sights on global expansion

USA / Germany – The Solingen, Germany-based Europe and Asia division of Accuride Corp, headquartered in Evansville, Indiana, USA, last month in an interview with Truck & Bus Builder outlined its positioning for global expansion. Andreas Strecker, President of Accuride Wheels Europe and Asia explained the firm’s manufacturing facilities, customer base and strategy for growth.
The company’s sales are currently divided within three business segments: commercial vehicles, personal transportation, and off-highway vehicles. The largest of these is commercial vehicles, accounting for 46% of sales, followed by personal transportation at 37%, and off-highway at 10%.
