Iveco develops new tracking solution in partnership with sennder and CO3

Italy / Germany / Poland – Iveco S.p.A. of Turin, Italy, sender Technologies GmbH of Berlin, Germany, and CO³ sp. z o.o. of Bielany Wrocławskie, Poland, have announced a new tracking solution aimed at increasing journey visibility for the European trucking market. Connected to sennder’s sennOS platform, the system utilises the truck’s inbuilt GPS devices.

The new end-to-end GPS tracking solution will give shippers the ability to track the often one-time and short notice spot loads that account for 20% of the trucking market, according to the firms. Utilising the trucks built-in GPS devices, which Iveco claims are equipped to 50% of European trucks, results in no additional hardware cost to the carrier. The solution is now available to order across Europe.
