Lamberet presents range of zero-emission trailers and bodies at Solutrans

France – Lamberet SAS, based in Saint-Cyr, France, has showcased a range of zero-emission refrigerated trailers at the Solutrans show in Lyon. The firm displayed a van, 26-tonne rigid truck, and two semi-trailers on its stand, all powered by batteries or hydrogen fuel cells.

Lamberet’s hydrogen fuel cell offering, the SR2 Fresh2 semi-trailer, has been developed in partnership with fuel cell supplier Bosch, cooling unit manufacturer Carrier Transicold, and operator STEF. The Bosch fuel cell directly supplies the cooling unit with electricity, eliminating the need for a battery pack, reducing weight and the cost of the trailer. The trailer recently completed one month of on-road testing with STEF and is expected to release as a production-ready model in 2025.
