Bosch expands its hydrogen portfolio

Germany / Italy – Stuttgart-based Robert Bosch GmbH has entered a strategic partnership with Italian component manufacturer OMB Saleri S.p.A., based in Brescia, to jointly develop hydrogen tank components.

Sold under the Bosch brand, the firm now offers tank valves and pressure regulators for hydrogen tanks, and the collaboration also includes a licensing and engineering agreement for several products related to hydrogen storage solutions at pressures of 350 or 700 bar. Bosch will also take advantage of OMB Saleri’s modern hydrogen test infrastructure.
