Symbio to build new facility for fuel cell production in France

FranceSymbio, a manufacturer of fuel cell systems for commercial vehicles based in Fontaine, France, is planning to build a new facility to produce hydrogen fuel cells in St Fons. Ground-breaking at the site is set for 9 December. 

On completion, the company claims the facility will become the biggest manufactory of fuel cell systems in the world, with a production capacity of 50,000 per year by 2030. Symbio has vast ambitions for growth: having expanded from 200 to 400 employees in the past two years, it plans to have up to 1,000 by the end of the next two years.
