Continental commits to sustainable tyre supply chain

Germany / Signapore – Tyre manufacturer, Continental AG of Hanover, Germany, has announced it plans to manage part of its purchasing of natural rubber through the Singapore-based HeveaConnect digital platform designed to ensure greater transparency and sustainability in the rubber supply chain.

The HeveaConnect platform validates key aspects of the supply chain, providing information on quality, traceability, and compliance with social and environmental standards. In addition, the software can integrate results with analyses from Rubberway, Continental and Michelin’s sustainability risk analysis joint venture.
