Enel X and Optibus partner for eBus management solution

Israel / Italy – Enel X, the energy solutions subsidiary of Enel S.p.A. of Rome, Italy, has announced a partnership with Tel Aviv-based AI software platform Optibus to create an end-to-end solution for electric bus operators. The solution will combine Enel X’s EV charging infrastructure with Optibus’ planning and scheduling software.
Through the partnership, Optibus’ software will support Enel X to optimise eBus management for the 1,800 buses served across Latin America, North America, and Europe. Currently, Enel X supplies smart charging and energy services to 1,300 electric buses in South America, and 500 across Europe and the USA. Optibus currently powers 2.5 billion passenger trips annually and is used by operators such as the Antelope Valley Transit Authority in California and Stagecoach in the UK.
