REE Automotive and Hitachi America to create digital platform offering turnkey solutions for EV customers

Israel / USA – REE Automotive Ltd, a designer of commercial electric vehicle concepts based in Herzliya, Israel, has formed a strategic partnership with Hitachi America Ltd of White Plains, New York, USA to offer a range of digital services which they hope will facilitate the adoption of electric vehicles across the entire value chain, from manufacturers to customers.
The two companies aim to bring to market a suite of turnkey solutions, which will support customers in manufacturing electric vehicles at scale, in setting up charging infrastructure, and in managing fleets. Using Hitachi’s ‘Lumada’ data platform, the pair will provide ‘Data as a service’ and ‘Analysis as a service’ – that is to say, cloud-based digital services – to REE customers.
