South Korea’s CV market declines by 11% in Q4 but is down just 1% on the year

South Korea - The South Korean market for commercial vehicles over 2 tons gvw fell by almost 11% to 51,640 in the fourth quarter of 2021 from 57,810 units in the same period of the previous year, based on data from various industry sources.
The sharp market decline came despite continued strong overall economic growth in the country and reflects perhaps more than anything very strong year-earlier sales, while tightening supplies of semiconductors also affected delivery volumes.
