Germany MAN Truck & Bus SE, a commercial vehicle manufacturer and subsidiary of the Traton Group based in Munich, Bavaria, has released figures for sales and deliveries in 2021 which show that the company is returning to pre-pandemic levels of performance. Just under 94,000 vehicles were delivered to its customers in 2021 as compared with around 82,000 in 2020 and just under 105,000 in 2019.

The German manufacturer’s trucks, which are built primarily at its factories in Munich and in Krakow, Poland, sold well, seeing a 14% year-on-year increase to 67,000 units. 48,000 trucks were sold in Europe, an 11% rise on the year before. Domestic sales, however, did not grow, matching those of the previous year at 19,000 units.
