Renault Group partners with Qualcomm to develop next-gen telematics and ADAS

France / USA – Renault S.A.S, based in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, has entered a partnership with San Diego, California-based telecommunications giant Qualcomm Inc. Under the agreement, the two firms will work to develop next-generation telematics and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Qualcomm recently announced its Snapdragon Ride Vision System at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, a scalable computer software targeting advanced driver assistance systems and autonomous driving. While predominantly aimed at the passenger car market, the system can be adapted for use across all vehicle categories.
