Turkey – The Turkish bus market performed better in 2021 than in 2020, but growth remains slow, according to statistics from local industry sources. A total of 4,928 buses were sold in Turkey in 2021, a near 7% increase on unit sales of 4,618 in 2020.

Total sales, however, are still lower than the pre-pandemic level of 5,449 units, recorded in 2019, and fall well below the sales peak of 17,480 units reached in the last decade in 2013, since which time bus sales in the country have trended downwards.
