Krone enters strategic partnership with ECR for fleet management services

Germany – Bernard Krone GmbH & Co, based in Werlte, Germany, has entered a strategic partnership with service provider Efficient-Consumer-Response ECR-Solutions Servicegesellschaft mbH (ECR) of Dortmund. The aim of the agreement is to work together to further develop and expand Krone’s fleet management service packages for fleet operators.
Krone states that fleet operators have been increasingly expanding their fleets situationally, often relying on vehicles from different manufacturers, as well as on partners with various financing and ownership options. According to Krone, the complexity of fleet management is increasing at the same rate. To solve this, Krone and ECR have agreed on a strategic cooperation to offer logistics service providers and shippers a customised and complete solution for trailer fleet management.
