Solaris announces order for up to 106 battery and fuel-cell electric buses for Austria

Poland / Austria - Solaris Bus & Coach sp. z o.o. of Bolechowo, Poland has announced a new framework agreement with bus operator Österreichische Postbus AG of Vienna, Austria, providing options to deliver up to 106 battery and fuel-cell electric buses between now and 2025 (with the option to extend the agreement to 2028).

The deal includes 24 Urbino 9 LE electric buses and 82 Urbino 12 hydrogen buses, following on from a contract signed in February 2021 providing options for the delivery of up to 40 hydrogen buses.
