Renault Trucks deliveries rise by 25% in 2021

FranceRenault Trucks SAS, a truck manufacturer and subsidiary of the Volvo Group based in Saint-Priest, France, announced its business results for 2021, showing that 51,460 trucks were delivered during 2021 – a 25% increase over the previous year. 

In France alone, 21,222 deliveries were made, making up a significant proportion (41%) of total deliveries. 24,760 units were delivered to the rest of Europe and 5,478 exported to the rest of the world. The French manufacturer holds a 29.8% share of its domestic market, which it claims is a “ten-year high”. Strong performances in Poland and the UK, where deliveries increased by 89% and 54% respectively, were also noted. Outside of Europe, Renault Trucks reportedly secured a market share of 6.7% in Turkey, the largest proportion it has achieved for 17 years, and an 8% share in the Middle East. The company claims it also did well in Chile, Morocco, and Indonesia.
