Bosch partnering with AWS to digitalise logistics

Germany / USA – Stuttgart-based Robert Bosch GmbH and Amazon Web Services Inc of Seattle, USA, have entered into a partnership aiming to improve efficiency and sustainability in the transportation and logistics industry. The two firms plan to offer logistics companies access to digital services through a platform powered by AWS, including services such as CV fleet optimisation, goods monitoring, and order processing.

Under the terms of the strategic partnership, Bosch will be responsible for developing and operating the logistics platform, while AWS will contribute cloud expertise. The companies plan to present a preliminary version of the platform at Hannover Messe, with a later launch for Europe, India and the US scheduled for the end of the year.
