Quantron signs letter of intent with FRIEM Group to expand electrification business into Italy

Germany / Italy – Quantron AG, an electrification specialist based in Gersthofen, Bavaria, Germany, signed a letter of intent at its corporate conference earlier in May with FRIEM SpA (or “FRIEM Group”) of Segrate, Italy to work together to expand Quantron’s retrofit business in Italy.
The FRIEM Group primarily manufactures power converters, but it has an interest in the green hydrogen sector and it is also the parent of a company called EYES which, like Quantron, is involved in the business of retrofitting commercial vehicles with electric powertrains. EYES also based in Italy, in the town of Cernusco sul Naviglio.
