Mercedes-Benz eActros LongHaul with 500km range to begin road testing in 2022

Germany – Stuttgart-based Daimler Truck AG has announced that it intends to begin road trials with its 500km eActros LongHaul later this year. The first prototypes of the vehicle are already undergoing internal tests, but is yet to be tested on public roads. The LongHaul variant is expected to enter series production in 2024, with the firm adding that its eEconic refuse vehicle will enter series production in July of this year. Currently, Daimler is also developing additional variants of the eActros 300 and 400.
