USAModine Manufacturing Company of Racine, Wisconsin has launched a new line of thermal management systems which are geared towards regulating battery, traction motor and power electronics temperatures in commercial electric vehicles of all sizes.

The ‘EVantage Thermal Management Systems’ range so far comprises two discrete product packages: (1) the ‘EVantage Battery Thermal Management System’, with multi-stage cooling and heating to regulate battery temperatures in hot and cold conditions; (2) the ‘EVantage Electronics Cooling Package’, designed to maintain optimal fluid temperatures for the traction motor and power electronics circuits, with small to large fan arrays that operate only when required to minimise power draw.
