USAFCA US LLC, known as Stellantis North America and based in Auburn Hills, Michigan, has announced a partnership agreement between its mobility services brand ‘Free2move’ and Samsara Inc of San Francisco, California, meaning that Stellantis vehicles in the USA will be able to connect to Samsara’s digital platform for fleet management services.

Access to Samsara’s ‘Connected Operations Cloud’ platform is now available in early access form to customers in the USA with 2018 model-year or newer Stellantis vehicles installed with eligible telematics devices – including commercial vehicles manufactured by Ram Trucks. Customers will gain access to Stellantis-embedded telematics data, such as GPS location, engine hours, fuel usage and tyre pressure through a single dashboard on the Samsara platform. Data insights from the platform are intended to optimise fleet management, streamline maintenance, and maximise uptime.
