Cummins announced the continuation of a thirty-five-year long partnership with Ram Trucks with the supply of a new diesel engine for the Ram 2500, 3500, 4500, and 5500 models.

The ‘Ram ProMaster EV’ is powered by an electric powertrain offering 200 kW/268 horsepower and 302-lbs-ft of torque, and a 110-kWh battery providing a range of up to 162 miles for urban applications.

It is a 26,000-square-metre facility capable of producing up to 16,000 units per year; following a planned expansion to 40,000 square metres, it will be capable of producing 50,000 units.

Parent group Stellantis North America released details of its model year 2025 ‘Ram’ pickup trucks, including a more powerful Ram 1500 and a new hybrid option.

Access to Samsara’s Connected Operations Cloud platform is now available in early access form to customers in the USA with 2018 model-year or newer Stellantis vehicles installed with eligible telematics devices – including commercial vehicles manufactured by Ram Trucks.
